Glenorchy & Innishail Community Orchard
Growing fruit for the community to share.
The Glenorchy & Innishail Community Orchard group was founded in May 2012 following a public meeting. Since then the community have planted orchards in Bridge of Orchy, Dalmally School, The Glebe and at Glenorchy Kirk.
The committee are: Janet Buchanan (Chair), John Ogden (Treasurer), Jim Wilkin and Harry Kent.
Funding has been received from The People's Postcode Trust, Oban Lorn & Isles Health & Wellbeing Fund, The Iona Family Group, Glenorchy & Innishail Community Council, The An Suidhe wind farm fund, ACHA, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Grow Wild and Act Alfresco and a number of individual donations.
