Tower Lodge is a Victorian building of character,
built sometime around the 1890's.
The Lodge has been furnished and
decorated with comfort and cosiness in mind. Situated on a private road
above Lochawe village, its setting provides a perfect location for a quiet
and relaxing holiday.
A five minute walk to the end of the private
road brings you a number of services. The Lochawe Hotel, The Tight Line
Pub, local shop and Post Office, bus stop for Oban to Glasgow buses and
Lochawe Railway Station on the West Highland Line.
Being situated
as it is on the lower slopes of Ben Cruachan, and just above Loch Awe, the
Lodge is ideal for outdoor activities. Lochawe is also a convenient base
for touring and exploring this lovely corner of Argyll.
Taynuilt
village, with more shops and services, is about 10 minutes drive from
Lochawe. The town of Oban with banks, supermarkets, ferry links to the
islands etc, is about 25 minutes drive.
