| Situated on the main Oban-Tyndrum-Crianlarich road (A85) close to the turn-off to Inveraray (A819), Loch Awe Stores overlooks Kilchurn Castle on the northeast corner of Loch Awe. The shop and house were built about the time the railway came to Lochawe and was a post office from about the same time (until recently a King George VI post box was set into the front window). | |

| Today the store caters for the village, for holiday makers and for passers by. There is ample off road parking which makes it attractive and easy to stop at. If you are coming to self-catering accommodation, we will be pleased to prepare an order for collection on your arrival. | |
