Glenorchy Girl Guides (Age 10+) meet on Monday evenings (6.30-8 p.m.) during school term time, in Lochawe Village Hall. Although small in numbers, the girls enjoy indoor and outdoor pursuits. We join with the 4th Oban Guides for the annual camp and weekend outings. Interest badges take up most of the winter months and a great wealth of local talent give help with instruction and testing. The highlight of the year for the Guides is the Senior Citizens' Christmas Party - every senior citizen in the area is invited and the Guides entertain them, serve food and generally look after their guests all afternoon.
