LOCHAWE VILLAGE HALL |
![]() |
| The hall was intended to satisfy the recreational requirements of the
local community and currently activities such as W.R.I., Guides, Badminton, First Shinty,
Yoga, Karate, Country Dancing and various childrens and senior citizens parties throughout
the year. It also serves as the polling station for both local and national elections. The building is used by groups such as mountain rescue teams, army cadets, outward bound schools and church groups, who all use the hall as a base for training in or exploring the local hills and countryside. The building has recently undergone a major refurbishment programme and thanks to very generous grants from the lottery board, the local round table and fundraising events organized by the hall committee the roof has been renewed, the electrical system has been completely rewired and upgraded and the hall redecorated. The hall is available for hire throughout the year with special rates for voluntary organizations. Anyone wishing to make use of this facility can contact a committee member listed below for further information. Mr D MacLeod 01838 200 298 Mr P MacDougall 01838 200 378 |
