Lochawe Village Hall are looking for volunteers to help paint the hall. If you have a few hours to spare please come along to the hall on 14/15 August and 21/22 August from 10am. We’ll give you a paint brush and a cup of tea! Speak to Rhona for more information (200 452).

The Three Wee Crows theatre company are performing at St Conan’s Kirk, Lochawe on Sunday 8th August at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door (£8.00 of which over 50% of the admission price will got to St Conans Kirk for restoration).

2010 World Pipe Band championships at Glasgow Green on Saturday (14th August) -CONGRATULATIONS to the Oban High School Band for winning the 2010 World Championship at Novice Grade, and to the Inveraray and District Band who came second (out of a class of 21 competing bands).

There is a GARAGE SALE at Dalriada, Ardbrecknish (opposite St James’s Church) on Saturday 13th Nov and Sunday 14th Nov from 11am to 2pm. Items for sale include fishing tackle, drop leaf table, electric rotovator, petrol strimmer, table site saw, petrol generator, cement mixer (hardly used), pillar drill, band saw, chop saw, hobby circular saw plus much more.
Dalmally Community Centre is open! There is an Open Day at the Centre this weekend on Saturday 26 March and Sunday 27 March from noon to 4pm. Refreshments will be available.
